If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. Tour Cancellation: Ferrate Tours reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour Ferrate Tours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. Ferrate Tours will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Ferrate Tours is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.   WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE Airfares to and from Europe, except where specified, airport taxes, passport and visa fees, insurance's of all kinds, laundry, phone calls, meals not detailed in the itinerary, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, optional excursions etc. The tour price also does not cover costs and expenses, including the return to your home, if you leave the tour at your own volition, or due to illness, or as a consequence of an official action by the government of any country visited. Reservations and Payment A deposit of $400.00 per person and per tour is required for us to hold a place on your adventure tour. Please make checks our money orders payable to Ferrate Tours. The deposit forms part of your final payment. The final payment is due 60 days prior to the Tour Date Ferrate Tours reserves the right to cancel the reservation should payment not be received within the above specified period.   CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS BY THE PARTICIPANT Notice of cancellation must be make in writing directly to Ferrate Tours. The following scale of charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given to Ferrate Tours. Cancellation fees are as follows: Cancellation 57 or More Days Prior To Tour Date --- $200.00 per person Cancellation 56 to 43 Days Prior To Tour Date --- 25% of Total Cost of Tour Cancellation 42 to 22 Days Prior To Tour Date --- 50% of Total Cost of Tour Cancellation 21 to 8 Days Prior To Tour Date --- 75% of Total Cost of Tour Cancellation 7 or Less Days Prior To Tour Date --- 100% of Total Cost of Tour The Reservation can be transferred to another person at any time. In this case, no cancellation fee is charged.   CANCELLATION BY FERRATE TOURS Ferrate Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time for the following reasons: Act of God (Extraordinary weather and snow conditions etc.) Cancellation at short notice for the illness, accident, or death of the Tour Organizer Less than 2 persons for the scheduled Tour Date.   The purchase of Trip Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended! Check with your travel agent for other insurances. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Passports & Visas: You are responsible for all visas, entry, health and other requirements and any document(s) required by law, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. All American passengers traveling in Europe require a Passport, valid for 6 months beyond the conclusion of their trip.
